Pagodas, houses decorated with carved windows, exquisite open-air
shrines and courtyards filled with brilliant sculptures are found everywhere in core areas of Kathmandu Valley. Nowadays, people have forgotten the values of these courtyard, open-air shrines, sculpture and carved doors and windows. They are affected by Western Styles living. Till this date most of the open shrine, courtyard and carved windows are damaged, destroyed because of lack of knowledge, awareness and natural disasters.
